Feeling good in the right clothes

I was telling you that, after my surgery, I wouldn't fit my clothes. It's also true that, since I started feeling ill, I couldn’t even go to the gymI am not making excuses for myself. I have too many kilos I'd like to get rid of, I do not like dietsI am lazy and occasionally I like to have a beer with my partner. Terrible, I know ... but I militate for world peace. Seriously now, the above mentioned, along with less pollution, would be the best things that could ever happen to us...
Looking through my clothes I sumbled upon this dress that saved me and I remembered something I've noticed lately quite often, even on the blogosphere.  That not all of us have perfect measurements it's not a tragedy - there are clothes for all sizes and we can be beautiful anyway. But please, I beg of you, wear the right size! Few things are worse than a woman with some extra kilos bursting out of her clothes! It is not shameful to ask for a bigger size. Clothes glued to a body that's not in best of shape, it's not sexy, it's vulgar, distasteful and very unaesthetic.

Sunflower

As you can see, here is still summer but the season is almost over. Our hotels will be closed soon, and we have to cross a long break. In a way I'm glad I have the chance to wear the clothes that I can’t wear in the summer but time passed really fast and I was not expecting winter to come so soon.Thinking about the empty city, the buses that will run even more rarely, about the wind that will keep me inside the house for several days, I felt the need to wear bright colours.

Army

Military style is slick and adjusted to Urban in a very modern way, with many green tones and khaki, dynamic cuts, boots and metal accessories, parkas, jackets and dresses inspired by military uniforms.
If you think it doesn't suit you, try plaid, khaki and hardware detailing and choose the preppy styling with plenty of layers. It's less military precision but pretty and practical. Play around, you have all the freedom!
It was a good pretext to show you my new boots which I am very proud of. More than one year now, I wanted a cut out pair of shoes and finally after long searches in stores and online, I found the perfect pair for me. Not too grunge, just perfect for casual outfits with dresses or jeans.

White shirt & beautiful necklace

Here I am once again, alive... well, maybe a little injured, but recovering. I have undergone a surgery, I took my first steps again, I went through things I couldn't imagine before.
About it all, I hope to write one day especially for those with the same health issue and going through the same experience. Now, the most important thing is that I feel better as the days go by. I took the opportunity and during my daily walk around the house I snuck a few photos. It really helps a lot after a week nailed to the bed.
The necklace I got as a present from my sister and I tried to find something simple to highlighted it, but to be comfortable at the same time. Until my abdominal muscles will recover I'm the proud bearer of a four months pregnant-like belly, so my outfit options are limited in some way.
I want to take the opportunity to thank those who have stood by me for the last few weeks. It seems best to do it now while my hair is decent, I'm wearing eyeliner and I'm not as pale as usual.
Love you!

Dots

I won't tell you I' m feeling wonderful, because I had better days. But what I can tell you, is how good it felt wearing such a short dress... Maybe it's a sign I turned 30. Again.
I couldn't sit still for a second to the despair of my boyfriend struggling to take some reasonable shots with a camera that would not focus.

Africa- Mix and Match

Africa has always fascinated me. I feel that everything that comes from there has a special scent, that their music carries me in a mystical dance across the dunes. The people of Africa have a rich culture and this is reflected in their daily clothing. Each culture preserves its ethnic and distinctive features.
Whether it's about style or design, their clothing reflects the personality of beautiful, strong women and each piece of cloth symbolizes the characteristics of a particular culture. The patterns and the fabrics are simply wonderful; each design is symbolic and has a hidden meaning. African clothing styles thus succeed in reflecting the community, location, social status, beliefs of indigenous citizens and gain popularity in fashion shows worldwide.
I may not know much about symbolism, but I hope that I managed to be at least decent...

Kamea and Chihuahua

Today I am wearing a dress I thrifted for a few euros from a local store and I am lucky enough to have some time for a few shots.
I remember surfing the fashion blogs some years ago and seeing so many expensive brands and not daring to dream about my own blog.
A beautiful style does not mean expensive clothes. You can dress well, you can be beautiful, fashionable, even if you make your own clothes or buy them at second hand shops.
So, my dear, if today you find yourself with a low self esteem, I write for you to know that you can do it, too.
I am known among my friends as a bargains hunter ... maybe it's a talent I have developed over time.
If I have a budget for shopping, I prefer the sales period,
Many times I have been lucky to find that and the last available pair of  some shoes I loved was my size and reduced with 70%. I  would give up any day any Mall in Dubai for a bazaar in Morocco.
I have no problem to look for a vintage item in a charity shop. It's a whole adventure and you'll be amazed what you can find there.
I'm exchanging clothes with my girlfriend whenever we get bored of something and I'm receiving donations also (hahaha!)...
Cheers to Alexia, as she added a few pounds and she had to donate me a bag full of goodies!
Aaah, and sometimes I steal from my sister <3.

Preppy match

This look is very much like what I wear every day to work. Minus the skirt lenght. The preppy style has made its mark on the way I dress, maybe since the time of my first job. From Ivy League school campuses, this style has come to be reflected in the wardrobes of  professional women and in several of the major desingners' collections. Classical ensembles, often worn by women entrepreneurs on the East Coast and not only, include tailored skirt suits, low heels, wrap dresses, silk or cotton blouses and exquisite jewelry. Such clothing often includes elements drawn from typical preppy style like nautical stripes, pastel or equestrian details. Baseline examples of the preppy style include Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Gloria Guinness, Babe Paley, Slim Keith or CZ Guest- all women whose style is often referred by designers.
