Kelefos bridge, Paphos Forest. One day trip.

One of our last trips before we've started the work, was in Pafos Forest to the Kelefos bridge. 

I really liked the place and I would like to go back again.

It is the perfect place for a one day trip ...

It would be great if we can all be adventurers but sometimes, even a weekend is too much to spend going somewhere.

That's why one day trips are always a good idea. If you manage to get a day off to spend with your family, make an effort once in a while and go out. Search around for beautiful places and enjoy some moments with your loved ones. You don't need a lot of money and all the household chores can wait  for one more day.

If I have convinced you, here are some tips for an even more successful trip:

1. Make a plan! Search on the internet and choose a route. Sometimes we like getting in the car and driving with no destination. It can happen for you to find very beautiful places but very often you might end up ... nowhere.
2. Do not leave home very late. If you did manage to find the time for a day trip, "make the best of it!"
3. Make sure you have enough fuel. Or, if you travel by train or bus, buy your tickets in advance. For a return ticket, sometimes, you can pay less.
4. Take with you some sandwiches. A croissant or some cereal bars are always welcomed. Do not forget about something to drink!
5. If you plan walking a lot, have a spare T-shirt and a pair of extra socks in your backpack. Especially for children. Be aware that the weather can change. A rain jacket or an umbrella will come in handy.
6. Take your camera. Even a camera phone may be enough.
7. Make sure your phone has enough battery. 
8. Take a blanket in the car. You can always find somewhere nice to eat the sandwich.
9. If you are like me and you are useless with the GPS, take a road map.
10. Wear something comfortable. 
11. Be sure to have some road trip music. And you must sing along!
12. Have dinner somewhere nice. I guessing nobody cooked at home in your absence.

Una dintre ultimile plimbari, de inainte sa incepem munca, a fost in Pafos Forest la podul venetian Kelefos.  M-am indragostit de locul ala si vreau sa ajung din nou in viitorul foarte apropiat.

Este locul perfect pentru a excursie de o zi...

Ar fi minunat daca am fi toti aventurieri profesionisti, doar ca, de cele mai multe ori, chiar un weekend este prea mult sa plecam undeva.

Tocmai de asta, excursiile de o zi, mi se par mai la indemana. Daca reusiti sa prindeti o zi libera cu familia, faceti un efort din cand in cand, si iesiti afara. Cautati in jurul vostru locuri frumoase in care sa va bucurati de clipe petrecute impreuna. Nu trebuiesc nici foarte multi bani si sigur, toata treaba de acasa mai poate astepta o zi.

Daca v-am convins, iata cateva sfaturi pentru o excursie si mai reusita:

1. Faceti un plan! Cautati pe internet si stabiliti un traseu. Uneori, noua ne place sa ne urcam in masina si sa mergem fara destinatie. Se intampla sa gasim locuri foarte frumoase dar de multe ori, poti sfarsi...nicaieri.
2. Nu plecati foarte tarziu de acasa. Daca tot va faceti timp pentru o excursie de o zi, profitati din plin!
3. Fiti siguri ca aveti suficient combustibil. Daca calatoriti cu trenul ori autobuzul, luati-va biletul inainte. Pentru un bilet dus-intors puteti plati mai putin.
4. Faceti de acasa cate un sandwich. Un corn cu ciocolata sau niste batoane cu cereale, sunt mereu binevenite. Nu uitati de apa!
5. Daca aveti de gand sa mergeti mult pe jos, puneti in rucsac un tricou curat si poate o pereche de sosete in plus. Mai ales pentru copii. Tineti cont ca vremea se poate schimba. O geaca subtire pentru ploaie sau chiar o umbrela, ajuta mult.
6. Luati-va camera foto. Si telefonul este bun.
7. Fiti siguri ca aveti suficienta baterie la telefon.
8. Luati in masina o patura. Puteti oricand sa faceti o pauza intr-un loc frumos sa mancati sandwich-ul.
9. Daca suntei ca mine, si nu sunteti prieteni cu GPS-ul sau alte chestii pe telefon, luati o harta.
10. Imbracati-va comod. 
11. Alegeti muzica de drum. Neaparat, cantati!
12. Luati o cina undeva intr-un loc dragut. Banuiesc ca nu a gatit nimeni acasa, in lipsa voastra.
